Grand Lux Cafe

So my wife and I had a $10 gift card for the Grand Lux Cafe in Park Meadows Mall here in Colorado.  We’d been for drinks with friends once before and wanted to try the food.  We showed up about two pm, after the lunch rush and well before the dinner crowd.  Immediately you could tell this was going to be an example of stellar customer service.  We were seated promptly by the manager and the waiter came over and got us all taken care of.

I ordered a chicken sandwich and my wife had a Santa Barbara sandwich which she is convinced had a whole avocado on it.  Every time my drink was low someone would refill it.  Not just our waiter, but anyone walking by.  When we got our food the waiter asked if we wanted ketchup and we said yes.  While he was running to the back to get it another waitress came by and asked if we wanted some.  We said he was getting it and she said she’d grab some.  Hers was closer and she had it to us before we could get the napkin in the lap and utensils out.

This was continuing throughout the restaurant and with every table.  They were a team, and a team that was determined to knock the customer’s socks off.  Everywhere you looked, people were smiling.  They have portions larger than anyone should ever get, the food was excellent, and the service was amazing.  It’s just another example of how businesses can win customers with service.  I would happily go back for the service alone.  I would tell anyone who asks that they have great food and better service.  If you ever have a chance, try the Grand Lux Cafe.  We hope our customers are as happy with our service at Crowd Rent as we are with Grand Lux Cafe.
